Google has released security updates to patch a vulnerability impacting Chrome. The vulnerability has been described as a type of confusion bug in the V8 JavaScript engine. Allowing remote attackers to exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. It has been rated 8.8 on the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (a 1 to 10 scale based on severity).
