IT Partners is pleased to announce that it has signed a letter of intent with Crown Fibre Holdings.
Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) over fibre is proving an attractive proposition, with many clients of IT Partners connected via Velocity Networks. The letter of intent with Crown Fibre Holdings, is the first stage in negotiating access from Local Fibre Companies, and on completion of commercial terms will allow IT Partners to offer a broader geographic offering.
Crown Fibre Holdings has been established to manage the Crown's investment in ultra-fast broadband infrastructure over a ten year period to end 2019. In December 2010, the Government announced the formation of a Local Fibre Company Ultrafast Broadband Limited with WEL Networks for the Central North Island including Hamilton (including Cambridge and Te Awamutu), Tauranga, Tokoroa, New Plymouth, Hawera and Wanganui.
