The easy way to replace your aging PC fleet

print the page

No matter what our role at IT Partners, we are all given the same tools to perform our jobs and, therefore, have the same ability to work productively.  No one needs to twiddle their thumbs while waiting for their PC to boot up or for programs to open and save because it is all nearly instantaneous.   And since we are all running the same version of Windows and Office there are no issues with opening shared documents and there is a consistent way to perform a task. The biggest benefit of this has to be when we have new people join the team, and creating best practice instructions.

If you have an aged fleet that has started to cause you problems here are a few things you might want to consider:

  • Repairs and maintenance will become increasingly more labour intensive and costly
  • Working on an old PC is a source of irritation, not to mention productivity sapping, for the person working on it
  • Temporary solutions are just that - temporary.  Upgrading the RAM is often only a short-term solution.
  • Just like an old washing machine that requires a whack in the right place to get it going again, old PCs develop their own set of quirks that you need to learn to work around

We know that the one-off cost of purchasing new hardware can be high.  What we have found is that through standardisation of hardware and Office versions, the productivity improvements will add up.  When combined with finance options, IT Partners can find a solution that works with your budget.

Please call Andrew, Michael or Toby if you’d like to get a quote or discuss this further.
