Beaurepaires under new owners wanted to increase customer service and retention, and become more efficient by utilising technology. Being a national company, Beaurepaires understood the importance of the network link between stores, but the existing network underperformed and was expensive to run.
IT Partners rolled out a Managed Wide Area Network, increasing network performance by a factor of 10 and reducing monthly costs.
“IT Partners mapped, configured, delivered and set-up the platform and infrastructure across a retail network of 52 stores in under a month. We successfully switched 52 retail outlets from the incumbent provider to IT Partners with no downtime IT Partners were up against the clock, we had to migrate to a new platform with the business ownership change, we were blown away with how they performed!”
– David Rushbrooke, Director – Beaurepaires NZ.
IT Partners initially used standard copper broadband connections, and started a program of rolling out fibre to the stores, increasing performance (again) and reliability.
With the new network in place, Beaurepaires were able to gain efficiencies, moving more systems and processes electronically, removing faxes, and generally improving store performance.
