VMware has disclosed critical vulnerabilities in VMware ESXi and vCenter Servers. A bad actor can exploit these vulnerabilities and gain access to virtual machines with storage controllers. This allows them to execute malicious code, gain further access to other systems, or stop the system from working entirely.
These vulnerabilities have been rated 8.1 on the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (a 1 to 10 scale based on severity).
